Am I enough? Does this thought ever go through your mind? I know it goes through mine, a lot more than I’d like to admit.
My grandfather, Pappy (who passed away two years ago) wrote me a letter a week for 10 years. 📝Laguna Beach (pictured here) was one of Pappy’s very favorite places. I have hundreds of letters I am going through one by one every week from him. My sister emailed me a letter that my Pappy wrote both of us, that I hadn’t seen probably since we received it.
How dreamy is this couple? They are pretty fantastic!
I was thinking of something because of this couple today. Are you going after your dreams?I had so many dreams in my heart as a little kid and somewhere along the line a lot of my dreams died. I believed a lot of lies and struggled with so much insecurity. In the last several years I’ve really started to dream again. Meeting my husband, he helps speak so much value and worth over my life and believes in my to go after my
This is one of my favorite things about where we live. So many flowers! With all the rain last week some were falling down and looked so pretty, I collected some. 🌷The hillsides are so green right now and there was actually a ton of water coming down the waterfall we hiked to yesterday(last several years it's hardly a waterfall). Last week we were bundled up in our winter jackets and snow boots as we braved the 6 inch puddles on the streets for our daily walk. Caleb stepped
How could we say no to both of these cuties. This is after their plane ride from Pittsburgh to ✈️L.A. We could not separate these sisters/best friends from each other or us. Getting kittens was certainly not our plan, but we are so glad we rescued these cuties. So cute seeing them play with @thegivingkeys. 😻How is your Saturday going? We are excited for an engagement photoshoot we're doing! #kittens #fun #givingkeys #play #joy
SIGN UP FOR FREE DEVOTIONAL! and access to Pappy's actual letters! The 2nd letter is one that my sister emailed me this past week. There was no date on it but I’m guessing from the content it’s from around 1998. I also think it was written in January because he mentions his birthday. Reflection and Devotional: Are You Enough? The lunch room in middle and high school was a scary place for me. I remember walking into the cafeteria after my best friend moved away in 6th grade. A
Who do you cherish your time with? Stefanie and I have taken on new ventures and have changed how we go about our everyday lives. A constant however is that when can be together, we do everything with each other or around each other. This is one of my favorite parts of our relationship. Whether it is going on walks, making dinner, working on our company, playing games, watching our favorite shows, or my all-time favorite: going on adventures, we do all of this together.
Can you spy Frosty? 🐇☁️our little blue eyed white bunny gets lost in some of our pictures. He is the definition of chill. Loves to sleep and eat, never gets mad and will cuddle nonstop. Sometimes I wish I was as relaxed as Frosty, what about you? ☁️ #bunny #cuddle #snuggle #chill #relax
“Stefanie, can you please back up!” Caleb yelled kindly but with authority as I was getting a little too close to the edge to take this picture. The waves were crashing loudly, it was a long drop and he knows I can be clumsy. We love visiting new places together and I’m glad I have my husband who has my back to make sure I’m safe (I can get a little too excited when seeing something new). There’s been many times I’ve almost done something reckless on one of our adventures and
Caleb and I love hearing people’s life stories. I love to know about the heart of a person and a prayer of mine is to see others through God’s eyes. When I get the joy of hearing about someones life, I see points of connection with them, judgement on appearance can diminish and I’m reminded that we are all God’s children, made beautifully and wonderfully by God. Every week at our church Angelus Temple, The Church of the Dream Center a man or woman from one of their recovery p
Many weekends we like to take an adventure day. We started this tradition when we were dating and have continued it for years now. We have our go to spots around Southern California that are our favorites. These days have been some of my favorites in my life. It’s amazing to get away, put down our phones and be present with each other- stepping away from the fast pace life we can a lot of times live. This past weekend we choose a go to- El Matador State Beach and then Santa M
