Who do you cherish your time with? Stefanie and I have taken on new ventures and have changed how we go about our everyday lives. A constant however is that when can be together, we do everything with each other or around each other. This is one of my favorite parts of our relationship. Whether it is going on walks, making dinner, working on our company, playing games, watching our favorite shows, or my all-time favorite: going on adventures, we do all of this together. One of the most challenging things about this year and the end of last year is that we no longer have our “day jobs” together, and we have to spend the majority of the day apart. For most, this doesn’t seem like a big deal, but for us, it has been a struggle. You see, we spent the first three years of our marriage working at the same school, starting from right after we got back from our honeymoon. So it’s needless to say that it has been a big and difficult change. There is no one that I cherish time with more, she is my best friend, partner in crime, we literally seem attached at the hip. I can’t imagine doing it in any other way. This picture (our hands molded together over a wonderful cup of coffee) reminds me no matter what happens, we want to do it together, and appreciate every minute. Another thing I love about this message and this picture is the watch we got. We started this business together, work on it together (Stefanie being the mastermind behind it and the one who works on it the majority of the time) earned a partnership with @woodwatches_com.
