I've celebrated Christmas in Pittsburgh my entire life. Because both sets of grandparents live/lived right down the road from the house I grew up in all our aunts and uncles and cousins gather there. It was Caleb's fifth year celebrating there was us. My bro-in-law calls it the 8 days of Christmas because there is some way we celebrate for usually 8 days/nights in a row. This trip to Pittsburgh for Christmas was probably our best one yet, which makes it even harder to leave. There was even snow we played in last night and this morning for the first time since we arrived. Time with my family is so priceless. Do you put up a Christmas tree? I wish we could keep our tree up all year long. I just love everything about it. Caleb makes the best popcorn and I told him to make a batch without butter so we could make popcorn garland this year. We ate a bunch on the way and I used a sewing needle (is that what you're supposed to use?) and poked myself a few times but I think it came out so pretty. How long do you keep up your tree? Do you like musical movies? Which is your favorite? I love Sound of Music. As a kid I would watch the movie we recorded from TV over and over again. Do you send out Christmas cards? This was the picture on our card this year. We were driving from our place in L.A. where it was warm to Big Bear Lakes mountain and I was thrilled about the snow. I was in this outfit for about 2 minutes then had to change because I was so cold. 😂 I love getting and giving Christmas cards as a reminder of people who care about us and who we care about even if they're far away.
