I know this is so corny & cliche you guys, but so true... there's no place like home, and home is when I'm with him.
Every time he gets home from work I attack him with hugs and kisses and jump into his arms. He usually has a bunch of things in his hands so it's pretty hilarious. I know the sound of his car pulling into our spot and wait in eager expectation to see his face. If he's in a really good mood I hear him whistling or singing a song and then I get even more joyful. The cats and I are eager for his attention.
For our first three years of marriage we drove to and from work together and worked at the same place, and even still every time I saw him it was like coming home. And for sure now when we work apart, every time he comes home it's like a favorite holiday. My world stops, and me in his arms is all that matters.
