Do you ever wonder how it all began? đ
This view took my breath away. I know it sounds clique but itâs true. Caleb and I just visited the Grand Canyon and I agree with his assessment that seeing something that spectacular thereâs no denying how big and great our God is. Creation is astounding and makes me think of how it all started âIn the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, âLet there be light,â and there was light.â -Genesis 1:1-3

âIn the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.â -John 1:1-5

That last part really gets me today. Without Him NOTHING was made that has been made. In Him is life, that He holds us together. He shines in our darkness. His light is our guiding torch throughout the steep valleys and mountains of this life.
