I read their mean comments yesterday đand Iâd be lying if I said it didnât make me questions my worth. The mean comments didnât come from this amazing community on Instagram. Iâve been posting almost everyday for over 2 years on this app, and Iâve only gotten a handful of hateful comments. You instead share the most beautiful stories, love, â¤ď¸gratitude and encouragement. After reflection, the comments I read yesterday me made me even more grateful for each of you. âDo not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.â-Ephesians 4:29 -Thanks for doing this!! One girl called me âretardedâ, some others made fun of the way I pronounce words, others made a reference to me being ditzy/stupid.  My first instinct was wanting to hide, đ¤Śđ˝ââď¸questioning myself, defend myself âI have my Masters degree, created my own successful company, I created a course with over 40 video modules, a therapist, a teacher, got almost all Aâs throughout all my years of school." But those things donât define me or prove me to be worthy either. I know Iâm not perfect, I have braces and can talk funny at times. I have dyslexia and misspell words. But those things donât make me stupid, Iâm a firm believer that God made each person unique and special and with their own genius. So I want to remind you as I remind myself: itâs ok that you donât look like, sound like, or act like someone else. How God created you is so special. And Iâm so sorry for those who've been made to feel less than, not good enough, unlovable. Iâm here to remind you that you are SO VERY LOVEDâ¤ď¸, precious, adored. And I wanted to thank you for being so kind. For being a light, an encourager.Â
Every kind comment/message doesnât go unnoticed, it has made an impact in my life, it has reminded me to keep sharing my heart. Thanks for focusing on the good things instead of my mistakes. Youâre beautifully and wonderfully made dear friend, your voice matters and when itâs used to build others up, you can be apart of changing the world for the good! Do you believe this? As always I LOVE hearing from you!Â
