What are your plans for the long weekend? We had this amazing long weekend planned for my parents to visit us from Pittsburgh and go to a gorgeous CA beach by our place with them. They haven't been able to visit in over a year. They were supposed to come in tomorrow and stay with us. I was SO excited but they just let us know they can't anymore because of my dad's job. đEvery second I get to spend with them or show them a bit of our world I cherish so much. I'm super disappointed but totally understand and love them so much. My dads job has always been unpredictable and very hard to stick with any plans for our family because at the drop of a hat anything could change. He's so hardworking and such a provider for us. I just hope and pray to see them soon and for them to get a much needed vaca. đđ I guess it's why this verse resonates with me: âWhy, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, âIf it is the Lordâs will, we will live and do this or that.â ââJames⏠â4:14-15⏠Plans change. Things change. Holding on to the One that doesn't, is something I always need to focus on. đ
