Happy Saturday! Woke up this morning to a wonderful note from my wife telling me how excited she is to spend the weekend with me. There is nothing better than to wake up to that and a big smile from her. She always goes out of her way to make me feel appreciated and loved, making me feel included and not forgotten.
In our relationship, she has always gone out of her way to put me first and to work so hard to protect us. What I mean by protect us is to put things first in our lives that will bring us long lasting prosperity and not temporary satisfaction. She doesn't let things in our lives that will be destructive or harmful to our hearts or minds. I have learned so much from her in the time of our marriage. She has taught me so much about being a more healthy person, to see the goodness in others, and I appreciate her so much for that. I was reminded of all this today as I read my note from her. I was filled with love and appreciation for her and our life together.
It's the little things in the midst of life that make a consistent push towards the positive progression in our lives. My wife is consistently an amazing person and I adore every little thing about her. This weekend I can't wait to spend time together and enjoy every moment that we get together.
