Last week at church our pastor talked about the things we do now will only grow as we get older. If we are bitter now we will be more bitter later. If we are sweet now we will be more sweet later. If we choose thankfulness now we will keep choosing thankfulness. This quote above "what if you woke up today only with what you thanked God for yesterday" really has pushed me to press more into a grateful heart. Not out of a place of fear but out of a place of appreciation. Some things I may complain about, when I really think about it I'm so grateful for. As I get older I want to be more grateful for everything. So that means I need to be more grateful now, moment by moment. What's something out of your ordinary that you are thankful for today?
