It’s Friday! Prepped and ready for a wedding of a sweet couple tomorrow. We love being apart of beautiful wedding days. There’s been a theme to what God’s been teaching me lately. Much of it has involved what goes on in between my ears. He’s teaching me in a new way the power of my thought life. This life verse: Philippians 4:8: “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.” So much power in having our thoughts focused the way this verse lays out. How I think about myself, others, God, the situation I or someone else is in, is powerful. We don’t have control of many things, but we do have control over our minds, and choosing our thoughts wisely. 2 Corinthians 10:5 “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” Taking captive thoughts is exhausting, but so worth it. It’s so much more live-giving and freeing for me to: give others more grace, love and celebrating little and big things, and being grateful. Also, even in difficult things lately, I’ve been thanking God for His protection and timing (which is many times different than my
timing 😆 ).
